Danish designer Finn Juhl is a legend in the world of furniture and interior design. His iconic pieces are not just examples of the Nordic minimalistic aesthetic, but combine functionality and innovation with a careful attention to details and research for the finest primal materials. Keeping alive Finn Juhl’s heritage and his visionary approach, Danish firm Onecollection redits his most popular designs since 2001. During 3daysofdesign, the Copenhagen-based festival for design, we visited Onecollection’s showroom, located on the ground floor in a historic building in the heart of city center. Room after room, Onecollection gives visitors a unique insight into Finn Juhl’s universe, preserving in the decor the designer’s deep fascination with modern art and foreign cultures. Despite their essentisl look, the organic shapes of the furnitures create a warm and cosy atmosphere, enhanced by an incredible choice of textiles that icludes a special pattern developed in collaboration with fashion designer Raf Simons.
