Gestures and physical behaviours are forms of non verbal communication just like fashion. With sharp combinations drawn in abstract shapes, photographer Othello Grey explores the silent universe of body signs. Hands, legs and arms speak a secret language, imbuing dynamic energy into the garments’ clean designs. Iconic pieces by Maison Margiela and Y’s by Yohji Yamamoto give to the minimalist styling a controlled avant avant-garde twist. Stripes of color collide on graphic lips that pop off the page. A new alphabet of movements and actions replaces the regular speech.
