In occasion of Paris Women’s Fashion Week we organized and curated the showcase of Middle Eastern designer Hala Kaiksow’s Spring / Summer 2019 collection. The presentation acted to promote the work of the young designer that challenges the mass production of contemporary industry by following a conscious approach to design. We celebrated craftsmanship and creativity in fashion, interior decor and food with a vegan cocktail and a biodynamic wine tasting by L’Arpège-trained chef Julie Bavant and a Rajasthani music performance. Titled “Nomas”, Hala Kaiksow collection explores the nomadic roots of mankind, and the central role of women during this migrations.
