The spirit lives slient, taking part of the meditative quiet of solitude.
A sense of calm and essential order is conveyed by observing Jona’s creations. The shimmer of the opalescent grey, a mirage of reverberating water on a mat sand that characterizes InAisce’s Spring / Summer 2014 collection enriches this feeling adding a sort of primitive lunar fascination. The extremely elongated proportions are completly in harmony with the body allowing a cohesive and structured layering which shows the carefully shaped pieces. The solid construction of tailored jackets and heavily draped skirts, is softened by long, loose fit cardigans and trousers tapered at the ankles to create a balanced contrast, keeping the lines fluid and clean. Through a deeper analysis of the yarns, Jona goes back to the origin of fibers, suggesting an idea of bare solemnity that sometimes meets elements of techwear.
Listening at the silence, the murmur of our consciousness emerges clearly, detaching itself from the chaotic noise of the surrounding world to experience a new intimate depth.
