Opulent in a childlike way.
J.W. Anderson plays with naïve childhood references to create refined looks for grown up dreamers. Anderson‘s fantastic Winter closet is made of metallic crowns and goggles stolen from Little Prince of Antoine de Saint-Exupery, long checkered shirts borrowed from Peter and the Wolf, combined with experimental silhouettes reminiscent of David Bowie‘s flamboyant style. The outcome of this eclectic mixmatch is elegant and ironic, and shows the designer’s ongoing quest for innovation, against mainstream treands, to follow his very own creative flow.
