JULIUS – [ c r a c k ; ] Fall/Winter 2013-2014

The short paragraph of description made the white walls project their opposite into black in a full, solid unity. Deep into context, JULIUS is above clothing. It is a project on a material vertex of energy in open interaction.

What revolves with Tatsuro Horikawa takes different forms and never equals to a self. Its own existence is not dictated by the need of ascending the ideal stance, but to materialise a present instance into deep.

A new presentation format taking place in Paris last season expressed an implicit level of interaction in the intimacy of the individual sphere, exposing the body to a new form of danger. While cracks are feminine and tenuous, shape is masculine and definitional. Their union generates a tensional loop, echoes of beauty in a concrete, practical context, up to where the paradox resides.

The real possibility of orienting the energy takes form in the collaboration with the Berlin based brand KUBORAUM, which came as natural consequence, and it is determining new changes.

The self is a disclosed core of more entities in interaction; as petals of the same corolla. An implicit need is satisfied in the direction taken, and its object delineates a new level of cohesion and wear in individual life. A process of destruction fosters the amorphous energy, that comes to the surface, not going through any kind of corruption.
