Tatsuro Horikawa translates into clothing William Gibson’s “Neuromancer” tech dystopian atmospheres. Images of a chaotic city, a futuristic ghetto, cyber counterculture, inspired a decisevely underground style. Technology seems to have taken control of all senses and as in Gibson’s novel, the collection combines culture and technology to connect the present and the near future in real time. Drawing inspiration from the underground movements of the 80s, Rem Koolhaas’s “Delirious New York”, and 90’s stretwear, Julius collection reinterprets the past while thinking of the future.
