Photographer Alice Jacquemin captures bits of Los Angeles vintage glam and mixes them with the luscious wilderness of Topanga Canyon. The story, done in collaboration with the Venice Beach-based boutique Mona Moore, celebrates the ideal of a strong woman that has a natural diva allure and a sophisticated taste for the avant-garde. Like the Mona Moore‘s girls she pairs trendy items such as the Vetements sock ankle boos with minimalist pieces by Lemaire, and she looks for a contemporary twist within traditions by choosing Maison Margiela‘s Tabi Mary Jane. Playfully cheeky, she wears extremely feminine outfits that compliment her body and henhance her youthful silhouette such as Rodarte‘s printed bodysuit and Haider Ackermann‘s short hoodies. Jacquemin‘s narrative is soft and open, as she went following our young muse in a wander around her property and the surrounding nature.
