Understated elegance meets doll-inspired fashion in Sara Lanzi‘s dreamworld. Since 2005, the Italian designer creates utilitarian yet sophisticated garments that embody an ideal balance of imperfection and rigor. Sara‘s creative process focuses on the quality of primal materials, sourced across Italy and Japan. Each piece has an artisanal feeling infused with a dose of discreet romanticism and contemporary lady-like vibes. For the Spring – Summer 2016 season, Sara Lanzi developed a collection of softly textured dresses and skirts fresh and delicate like countryside flowers. The sharp and precise cuts reflect Sara‘s graphic attitude, while pleats, see-through inserts and subtle details express the designer’s most feminine side. Simple yet flattering, the garments came in a range of crispy cotton and organza very fine in their weight, whose clean lines and muted tones were enriched by exuberant patterns.
